Brookfield High School Graduation Ceremony, 30-minute delay
Posted Date: 06/13/25 (07:00 PM)
Good evening.
After consulting with our meteorologist, we decided to delay all of tomorrow's graduation activities by 30 minutes. The ceremony will be held outside, even if it rains, unless thunder and lightning become a factor. Additional procedural adjustments to the ceremony may be made once it starts. Given the potential for rain, we ask that guests be prepared with rain gear (jackets, hats, umbrellas, etc.) and maybe a blanket or towel, given the distinct possibility of wet seats.
The most important times (updated for the 30-minute delay) are as follows:
Car parade - Starts at 10:30 AM
Shuttle buses - Start their runs from 100 Pocono Road at 10:00 AM
Ticketed guests can access the turf - 10:30 AM
Graduates line up in the gym - 11:15 AM
Procession to the turf begins - 11:45 AM
The outdoor ceremony will only be streamed from this Brookfield Public Schools YouTube channel.
Additional detailed information can be found in the UPDATE Rain Delay Class of 2025 Rain Delay Information document.
This will be my only update tonight. I will send an update tomorrow morning only if the forecast drastically changes.
I appreciate your anticipated understanding.
Sincerely,
Marc Balanda
BHS Principal
