Ms. Sandra Ransom is officially part of the BHS nursing team. She comes to us with experience in pediatrics and while she will focus primarily on 9th and 10th grade students, she is always available to help. Our other nurse, Mrs. Perrone, will focus primarily on 11th and 12th grade students and will also be available to help all students.

Brookfield High School is excited to raise money for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) by participating in their annual PJ Day! We look forward to joining hundreds of schools, businesses, and individuals across the state to honor adolescent patients who must wear their pajamas for days, weeks, or longer while fighting cancer or other serious illnesses.

We hope you will consider donating in honor of the young patients who turn to CCMC for hope.

Please bring your redeemable recycling to the BHS Student Parking lot on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Volunteers will turn in the collected cans and bottles for cash, with all the money going directly to the PTO.

The Grad Party invites all families to attend their meeting on December 19 at 7:00 PM in the BHS Cafeteria. All are welcome to join and help plan an unforgettable night for the Class of 2025!

Midterm exams are scheduled to start on Tuesday, January 21. This schedule is subject to change (but will be updated as needed) based on unforeseen school closings due to weather. Please click here for 2025 Midterm Exam Information.

The staff/visitor parking lot, where the buses line up at the end of the day, is not to be used for student pickup at the end of the school day. This interferes with buses and our security guard will not allow this. Please park in the student lot if you pick a student up at the end of the school day.

A bag lunch will be available for purchase on all scheduled ½ days for the remainder of the year.  Students who would like lunch are asked to complete an electronic (sent to them through email) two days before the 1/2 day.  All lunches will include a main entree, a fruit/vegetable, and milk.  The full price cost is $3.25 and students who qualify for free or reduced lunch will receive a free lunch.

A late bus is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus departs from the main entrance.  To ride the late bus, students must stay after the school day ends to attend a club, meet with a teacher, have detention, get tutoring assistance, or attend a sports practice/event that ends by 4:40 pm/4:45 pm.  Students are to see the main office receptionist and sign up for the late bus before 2:00 PM on the day they wish to take it home.  A student cannot take the late bus without a bus pass.
