The School Counseling Department is pleased to make this resource available to all our students and families, as a complement to the series of college-related speakers and seminars we offer our students and parents.
Scoir is a place to organize personal data, lay out a game plan, maintain a list of prospective colleges, and track the application process.

College Visits to BHS
As college representatives schedule information sessions at Brookfield High School, they are posted online in real-time. Click on Visit Schedule, or view the page for a particular college to see whether a session is scheduled. Juniors and seniors with personal accounts may sign up online. Others may sign up on sheets posted in the counselor's office.
College Lookup
This research tool provides comprehensive information on thousands of colleges. In addition to general and admissions information, further data is presented on academics, cost and financial aid, student body characteristics, and extracurricular and athletic programs. A link to each college's website is provided. For colleges to which past Brookfield students have applied, numbers applying, admitted and enrolled, are shown with a link to a "scattergram" graph. Check out the counselor's notes section for notes from our school visits.
College Search
When criteria such as size, location, cost, specific majors, or athletic programs are entered, students can produce a list of colleges that meet their requirements.

This feature provides links to other useful Websites relation to college information, financial aid, test preparation, NCAA eligibility, etc.
Email Announcements
The counseling office may periodically send out emails on upcoming workshops (college night, financial aid workshop, etc.). Please make sure both the student and parent's emails are updated on Scoir.
