AP Testing

This is a reminder that AP Exams continue through Friday, May 16. Students must bring a charged device (Bluebook App accessible & downloaded). If a student indicated they need to borrow a device, we will have one ready for you to use. Exams are administered in the downstairs science wing (Rooms 117, 116, 115) unless a student is testing with accommodations. Those students received an email from Mrs. Usher with their testing location.

Reminders:
  • arrive at your testing location by 7:50 AM for a morning exam and by 11:50 am for a Noon exam
  • cell phones & other electronic devices must be powered off and NOT in your possession during testing, including breaks
  • bring a snack/drink - only to be consumed during testing breaks
Students should bring:
  • A fully-charged device with the Bluebook Exam app installed (unless you have already requested to borrow a device)
  • A power cord and/or a portable charger although we cannot guarantee you’ll have access to an outlet during testing. Devices should be able to hold a charge for 3–4 hours.
  • An approved calculator. There’s a graphing calculator built into the app, but you can bring your own if you like.
  • An external mouse, if you use one.

Location for student pickup at the end of the school day

The staff/visitor parking lot, where the buses line up at the end of the day, is not to be used for student pickup at the end of the school day. This interferes with buses and our security guard will not allow this. Please park in the student lot if you pick a student up at the end of the school day.

Lunch on 1/2 days

A bag lunch will be available for purchase on all scheduled ½ days for the remainder of the year.  Students who would like lunch are asked to complete an electronic (sent to them through email) two days before the 1/2 day.  All lunches will include a main entree, a fruit/vegetable, and milk.  The full price cost is $3.25 and students who qualify for free or reduced lunch will receive a free lunch.

Using ParentSquare

If you need help navigating our new ParentSquare platform, the district has published two documents to help you. This is a video (about 14 minutes) from ParentSquare, and this is a Getting Started presentation from our Technology Director.
