Class of 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program - Letters of Commendation

Brookfield High School is proud to recognize ten members of the Class of 2026 who have earned a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program for their outstanding performance on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).  Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.3 million students nationwide who entered the 2026 competition by taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Their performance represents a significant academic achievement and reflects their strong commitment to learning.  The National Merit Scholarship Program, established in 1955, is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. The Letters of Commendation highlight the strong academic promise of these students and their potential for continued success in future endeavors.

The students honored are pictured below:  Saarah Abdulrahman, Susanna Batterton, Nathaniel Bogues, Sophia Cantone, William Doman (not pictured), Kaelyn Folchetti, Hyungmin Lee, Haylie Miller, Ayan Sharma, and Samarth Shirsat.
