BHS Student & Family Update September 25, 2026

The Leo Club will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event at Brookfield Town Hall on Saturday, 9/26, from 9am to 12pm.

During ILT on Wednesday, September 30th, the BHS Yearbook will take the 2027 class photo on the football turf. As you may recall from past graduating classes, Seniors will create a “27” formation on the field for the class picture.  Seniors need to bring white clothing to wear, as we would like to create a “white-out” for this picture. As fall temperatures start to settle in, please be ready for cooler weather with something warm to wear.  

Immediately following the class of 2027 picture, we will take the 13-Year Club photo on the bleachers. The 13-Year Club photo is for students who have been members of the Brookfield school system for 13 years straight (from Kindergarten through the 12th grade).

We are thrilled to announce that Shomick Ghosh has been named a National Merit Semifinalist! This prestigious honor places him among the top 1% of high school seniors nationwide, recognizing his outstanding academic talent and PSAT performance. We are incredibly proud of Shomick for this remarkable achievement and wish him the absolute best as he advances in the competition!

Brookfield High School is proud to announce that five students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship as Commended Students.  They are among the top 50,000 students who took the Fall 2025 PSAT and deserve recognition for demonstrating outstanding potential for academic success.  Our commended students are Meetansh Dhote, Shefalee Ghosh, Shriya Kelkar, Nathan Koch, and Nicolas Sullender.  Congratulations!
