2026 HOMECOMING

Student Government is excited to announce that our Homecoming activities will be the week of October 19th through the 24th, ending with our Homecoming Dance on October 24th. 

The Homecoming Dance will be at BHS and will have a pizza truck (Genoa's Wood Fired Pizza) and other food available for students! Tickets will be available on MySchoolBucks starting on Monday, September 28th through Friday, October 23rd closing at 1:00pm. In person ticket sales will occur in the Cafe during all lunch waves October 19th through the 23rd. Pre-Sale tickets are $35. (Cash or Check (made out to BHS)).    Student government will be rolling out their Spirit Days in the coming week so stay tuned!
 

Raising Addiction Proof Kids - October 8, 2026 (6:00 PM)

Brookfield parents and guardians are invited to join Kriya Lendzion, LCMHS, LCAS, CPS for Raising Addiction-Proof Kids in an Addictive World. This virtual webinar will help parents strengthen their child’s “inner compass” and navigate the growing number of risky and addictive influences young people face today, from substances to screens.  Attendees will also receive access to presentation resources, a parent toolkit, a 50% off online parent course, and more!

This webinar is sponsored by the CONNECT Grant Initiative at BHS, a federally funded effort to strengthen trauma-informed mental health supports in Connecticut schools and connect students and families with equitable, appropriate services and resources.

FREE Tech Training Program

The Justice Education Center is offering a FREE Tech Training Program for current 11th- and 12th-grade students in Culinary Arts and Health Technology.  It will be held at Henry Abbott Technical High School from October 26, 2026, to March 16, 2027.  Please click here to learn more about this program.

National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist - Shomick Ghosh

We are thrilled to announce that Shomick Ghosh has been named a National Merit Semifinalist! This prestigious honor places him among the top 1% of high school seniors nationwide, recognizing his outstanding academic talent and PSAT performance. We are incredibly proud of Shomick for this remarkable achievement and wish him the absolute best as he advances in the competition!

National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Students

Brookfield High School is proud to announce that five students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship as Commended Students.  They are among the top 50,000 students who took the Fall 2025 PSAT and deserve recognition for demonstrating outstanding potential for academic success.  Our commended students are Meetansh Dhote, Shefalee Ghosh, Shriya Kelkar, Nathan Koch, and Nicolas Sullender.  Congratulations!

2027 Yearbooks Are Now On Sale!

Yearbooks for the 2026-2027 school year are now available for preorder. 
Reserve your copy at the early bird pricing of $55 until November 1st, 2026. The price will increase to $65 on November 2nd, 2026.
