October 14 - PSAT (all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders)
October 14 - Booster Club Meeting (6:30 PM -Library)

November 3 - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS (Election Day)
November 4 - Parent/Teacher Evening Conferences (1/2 day for students)
November 5 - Parent/Teacher Afternoon Conferences (1/2 day for students)
 
School Counseling Info - October

PSAT Day - October 14, 2026

All 9th-, 10th-, and 11th-graders will take the PSAT at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Room assignments will be posted throughout the building and have been shared with students. Students have already completed their digital readiness test and will use either their own device or a school-issued device for this online test. They should have their devices fully charged and ready for testing on Wednesday. 12th grade students have the option to stay in the cafeteria during the testing window or arrive to school at 10:45 AM. Following the test, we will run an adjusted bell schedule (click here to see the schedule) so all B-day classes will meet.

September Student of the Month

September Student of the Month

We are excited to introduce our new Student of the Month recognition!  How will it work?
Each month will have a different theme highlighting a quality or behavior that contributes to a positive school community. Any staff member can nominate a student(s) who demonstrate that month's theme. 
All nominees, and our winner, should stop down to the Counseling Office to pick up a certificate with your nomination information

Planned Lockdown Drill - October 16, 2026

Brookfield High School is planning a lockdown drill on Friday, October 16, 2026, during ILT.  Student instructional time will not be affected. For more information about the Standard Response Protocols we follow, please visit iloveuguys.org. If you have any questions, please let me know.  

2026 Homecoming Dance - October 24, 2026

The Homecoming Dance will be at BHS and will have a pizza truck (Genoa's Wood Fired Pizza) and other food available for students! Tickets will be available on MySchoolBucks starting on Monday, September 28th through Friday, October 23rd closing at 1:00pm. In person ticket sales will occur in the Cafe during all lunch waves October 19th through the 23rd. Pre-Sale tickets are $35. (Cash or Check (made out to BHS).  

Yearbook Picture Retakes - October 22, 2026

Brookfield High School's underclassmen picture make-up and retake day is scheduled for Thursday, October 22nd. 
Students who wish to retake their September picture may do so for a $7 fee, paid in cash or money order (no checks) to the photographer. 
If students ordered photos from the September picture day, they need to return those photos to the photographer as well.
If students would like to have their September picture retaken, please have them contact Mr. Steinbeiser (steinbeisera@brookfieldps.org) by Tuesday, October 20th at 2:30 p.m. so he can add them into the retake schedule. 

FREE Tech Training Program

The Justice Education Center is offering a FREE Tech Training Program for current 11th- and 12th-grade students in Culinary Arts and Health Technology.  It will be held at Henry Abbott Technical High School from October 26, 2026, to March 16, 2027.  Please click here to learn more about this program.

2027 Yearbooks Are Now On Sale!

Yearbooks for the 2026-2027 school year are now available for preorder. 
Reserve your copy at the early bird pricing of $55 until November 1st, 2026. The price will increase to $65 on November 2nd, 2026.
